Find Your Reason to Smile

Would you believe that the highest positive emotion is (: smiling 🙂 .

It’s true, when we (: smile 🙂 with about 20 facial muscles, it stimulates our reward mechanism.

How this works is, neuronal signals from the cortex of our brain travel to the brain-stem and from there, the cranial muscle carries signal to the muscle of our precious face.

From there on end, the (: smiling 🙂 muscles in our face contract, a positive feedback loop which goes back to the brain and promotes our feeling of ding, ding, ding…contentment.

Soooooooo in short, there is always a reason to (: smile 🙂, find it 🙂
